Mayor Berkowitz Launches Vision Zero Anchorage Initiative

On March 2, 2016, the Office of Mayor Berkowitz shared the following press release: ANCHORAGE – Today, Mayor Ethan Berkowitz will kick-off the public involvement process for Vision Zero Anchorage. Vision Zero is a commitment to eliminating traffic deaths and serious injuries for all road users.

2016 Alaska CPS Technician Recertification Conference

With funding from the Alaska Highway Safety Office, AIPC is coordinating a recertification conference for Alaska’s CPS Technicians. The conference will take place Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Anchorage Fire Department Training Center. Registration forms available online. Please register by 9/2/2016. International Safety Media Awards

The 2016 International Safety Media Awards will be presented at the Safety 2016 Conference in Tampere, Finland. The conference will be held in September 2016. To learn more and enter your injury prevention or safety media, visit the ISMA site. Entries are due March 28, 2016.
